No part of the Works may be reproduced, copied, stored, or transmitted in any form or by any means: graphic, electronic, or mechanical, including photocopying, recording or information storage and retrieval systems without the prior written permission of Donaldson & Associates, Inc., except where permitted by law.
The trademarked term "Emotional SMARTS®" is registered internationally. It is understood people presenting Emotional SMARTS® Works are not employees or agents of Donaldson & Associates, Inc. Individuals who order the Emotional SMARTS® Self-Scoring Profile (short or long version) and who agree to the No Charge Donaldson & Associates, Inc., License Agreement are able to present either of the two profiles in keeping with, and adhering to, the instructions presented in the Emotional SMARTS® Facilitator Guide. The Emotional SMARTS® Self-Scoring Profile(s) and the associated Facilitator Guide can be ordered through Training and Development Materials of Canada (1 800 283 4964) of Barrie, Ontario, Canada.
The Emotional SMARTS® book and Emotional SMARTS® Self-Scoring Profile are based on theoretical concepts, organizational and practical experience. They are not a scientific measure of emotional intelligence and are not intended for diagnostic or selection purposes. They are tools which provide information on emotional intelligence concepts and professional development. The Emotional SMARTS® Self-Scoring Profile has no relationship to the products of Multi-Health Systems Inc. including the BarOn Emotional Intelligence Quotient Inventory (EQ-i®). Individuals or organizations wishing to obtain emotional intelligence materials for diagnostic or selection purposes are directed to registered psychologists.
Dr. June Donaldson and Wendy Turner-Larsen a psychologist with Master's degree in Counselling and Adult Learning intend that all Works produced by their companies of Donaldson & Associates, Inc., and Turner-Larsen Consulting be educational, informative and encouraging. They are not to be used for treatment of any health disorder, for diagnosis or as a prescription of one's ailments. The above Works should not replace advice and consultation of qualified health care practitioners and the above parties are in no way liable for any misuse of their Works presented or given out through any learning avenues.
